unity garden brassarie
the spatial experience
The developing brassiere drawings illustrate the concept in process, working with
neutrality, purity and light. Soft shades of whites and baby blue textures and soft shadows create this harmonious
Tranquil space.
The transparency degree of the skylight glass allow for smooth soft fluid shadows to filter into the space.
Across neutral white surfaces in a white wash render
Typically of that found in the Greek islands,
The extruding wall fluid elements extrude into the skylight path and illuminate with its slightly reflective and luminous surface defining the area of the elevated platform with light, celebrating the greenery, sky, and defining the light path within the space creating a feature element to allow a focus area to enjoy while dining. these elements also carry rainwater recycled from rainwater collected on the roof to water the internal plants. on the inside facing the wall you will find water spray elements which in ideal would be set to timers to control both the care of the plants and consumption, these play nicely with the concept of the forms in terms of creating a natural ecological interior.
Temperature control censors within the concrete allow for a steady monitoring of temperature, these censors communicate with the skylight, which will open a close in a variety of set degrees to achieve the desired temperature with changing air flow.
Floating above the skylight on entrance you will notice a elevated rainwater and green roof filtration element, composed as a feature of the skylight to allow plant and water shadows within the space on desired days. And also to allow exterior lighting to shine down into the space in continuation with the feature element of the space at night.
